VEGA's Control Systems capability develops, maintains and supports systems for the monitoring and control of satelittes and ground stations.
Over the past 25 years, VEGA Control Systems has provided support for over 50 missions, and we are currently supporting the spacecraft control systems for Cluster, Envisat and ERS (for ESA) and Bird, Champ, Grace and SATCOMBw (for DLR).
In the area of ground station control systems, we are supporting the Station Computer currently deployed at the ESTRACK ground stations.
VEGA provides services at all stages of the Control Systems lifecycle, including:
- Studies into future technology issues
- Supporting the definition of the system requirements specification
- Designing and implementing the system prior to launch
- Maintaining and supporting the system during the mission
VEGA is a leading supplier of SCOS-2000 based Spacecraft Control Systems and is responsible for supporting all ESA’s Ground Systems infrastructure software, including SCOS-2000.
