In today’s information economy, the introduction of every new system brings an increase in the magnitude of the data gathered, processed and communicated. Invariably this has an associated increase in the complexity of system development, validation, operation and maintenance.
Any introduction also seems to happen in a highly cost-conscious environment where the efficiency of every aspect of the investment must be examined over the lifetime of a system deployment.
Access to specialised technical knowledge and domain expertise to control the system implementation and ensure operational optimisation, or the ability to outsource system operations, has now become a key factor in safeguarding business continuity and achieving sustainable performance improvements.
In this section we present a small selection of articles and papers that were recently published or presented at conferences.
