VEGA is a founding member of the Mott MacDonald-VEGA consortium. 
Formed in 2001 by management and engineering consultants Mott MacDonald and VEGA, our members include BBC Technology, DLA MCG Consulting, ITM Group Ltd, SunGard Availability Services and MORI. The consortium is qualified under the OGC (Office of Government Commerce) buying solutions' S-CAT scheme as a provider of IT and business services to public sector organisations including UK Government.
S-CAT is the OGC buying solutions' catalogue-based procurement facility that provides pre-qualified suppliers to government organisations with a reduced time and cost means of procuring a wide range of IT consulting and business services. The scheme provides users with easy ordering based on standardised procedures, a choice of suppliers, competitive fees and the ability to call-off urgent requirements quickly.
The past two years have seen the successful development and completion of a series of innovative government projects for a range of clients including the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Department of Trade and Industry, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Planning Inspectorate and the National Health Service.
